Remedial massage techniques are used to treat specific injuries or the source of pain, not just the symptoms. To find the actual source of the problem Ian will ask questions relating to your lifestyle, it may be that some almost insignificant factor is actually relevant; for example because of access or obstructions you might always sit in a particular way at work or you move around the workplace lifting or carrying objects.

Massage helps the rehabilitation process by reducing the effects of scar tissue and adhesions. It helps regain lost flexibility and strength.
